Up up and away!

Afternoon all!
I had intended joining in Darnell's NBUS challenge but the week got away from me instead I was inspired this morning by the new challenge over at Less is More:

So it's Recipe week and we're looking for
1 or more balloons on your project.

So I decided to use some freebie stamps from Creative Stamping magazine and thought it would make a Valentine's card for my OH.

Fairly self-explanatory but I liked the sentiment. I've had to stop my subscription to this magazine as you get so many stamps that I'm running out of space!

I had to make 2 sympathy cards yesterday and went with a freebie feather stamp and SU French Foliage set.

Temperature has gone up today and we actually had to turn the heating off for a while! Long may it continue.

Enjoy your weekend whatever you're up to.

Such a pretty balloon and I like how you've positioned the sentiment, Val. Two lovely sympathy cards too. Yes it's good that it's not so cold today, I ventured out into the garden.

Beautiful mix of colours for your balloon, Val. And the texture from the linen card is fantastic. Two lovely sympathy cards as well. Nice to see you having lots of play time. xx

A beautiful trio of cards Val and although it's a sad occasion with those sympathy cards they are truly elegant and I'm sure the recipient will feel cherished when they receive them. Love your colourful balloon card too with the clever placement of your sentiment. Super fun and CAS and thanks for playing along at Less is More this week. Sarah

I love these cards! The colours on your hot air balloon are fabulous, so eye catching and vibrant. Sorry you needed sympathy cards, but they're beautifully made and very tasteful. The feathers are really lovely. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)

Three lovely cards. I do love your colorful hot air ballon. I love using freebies. I have to admit many of them are still NBUS ones, but I've used plenty of them.

It's never easy to make sympathy cards but these are so beautiful and understated, perfect for these difficult situations. Loving your bright balloon with the textured cardstock and scoring, perfect for our challenge. Yes the temperature rose down here in Torbaydos too, unfortunately we got the rain and fog in exchange!
Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita xx
