Back with a vengeance......

Hi everyone, well it's been nearly a month since I last blogged but we've been on a couple of "jollies"!
We had 3 lovely days with Charlie and Co in the IOW which included things mainly to do with transport!! The steam train journeys were a delight and we had a fabulous day at Robin Hill country park where there was a tractor train and lots of large wooden diggers etc to play on.

We were back a few days and then we headed off to Brixham to stay with some old friends which was slightly more restful than the IOW but definitely more alcoholic!!! Lovely weather, fab food and too much wine!
Lunch overlooking Brixham harbour and a visit to Sharpham Vineyard

 Catching up with old friends.
Back to crafting and this is a frame that I made for my friends daughter Maya. I couldn't get a good pic because of the reflection. I created the centre in craft artist and decoupaged the flowers and added a couple of flourishes. The elephants are a tattered lace die.

I have 2 friends with birthdays this week and here they are:

I've had 2 more commisions for pop up box cards one obviously for a lady and the other for a 13 year old boy mad on guitars and rock bands!

Finally Charlie is moving into a new bedroom and has requested signs for his wall including one of our local buses! I think more may be in the pipeline :0)

I hope to make a card for Less is More this week as it's Chrissie's birthday and I will be back with a wedding card and more birthday cards.

Great array of cards and projects Val. Bet Charlie will love his signs! Glad you had a good, if pretty alcoholic time, in Brixham. Weather certainly changed.......poured all day Friday, nice yesterday but tipping down today!

Hugs.

Looks like you've been busy having fun Val! Great pics of Charlie on his fun adventure ... and a lovely view from your holiday with hubby and friends. Looking out at water is ALWAYS so relaxing, especially if you've having a bit of wine at the same time. :) Fabulous makes since you got back. LOVE that sweet frame for Maya ... great design. And fabulous birthday cards too that your friends will enjoy. You have really mastered those pop-up box cards. Each is so unique and creative ... and fun! xx

Wow a wonderful collection of beautiful cards and projects. I think Charlie will be asking for more things to put on his wall.
