Less is More week 99-100 recipe

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a great Christmas and are looking forward to a happy and prosperous New Year. We thoroughly enjoyed sharing in Charlie's first Christmas and he just loved the boxes! Knee deep in toys and all he wanted was an amazon box to sit in:) He looked cute in his Santa outfit!

I got some nice crafty bits and pieces that I will be playing with soon.
Anyway back to the LIM challenge which is spread over two weeks, thank goodness!

This challenge will last for two weeks over the festivities and we have decided to start our Christmas celebrations with a whizz and have chosen
DRINKS
as our recipe.
You can choose tea, coffee, water, sodas, alcohol of course if you wish, in fact any drink at all... but all of us...Chrissie, Mandi and Jen would like to wish all of you a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous and healthy New Year.
Cheers!

I don't have a suitable stamp and so I thought I would have a go at some word art on the computer, come and see:

I used Craft Artist to manipulate the words that I created in different fonts. I matted it onto pink card and hand wrote the sentiment. I drew the glass and added a gem for the cherry. The embossing is a flourish folder that I thought resembled bubbles.
Thanks for visiting and see you all in 2013!

Great card Val. my fave drink is there too ....Baileys!

I have done something similar to this on the p.c but cannot do vertical and horizontal wording, maybe I will look at craft artist too.

Happy New Year to you and yours.

Love Sheila x

A fabulous card, but put in the shade by the gorgeous photo of Charlie! What a wonderful smile! Happy New Year, Val!

P.S. Would have been second at scrabble had it not been for the w and p in my hand. Did get rid of the z though!

How very resorceful of you to computer generate this brilliant word art in lieu of a stamp, I wouldn't have a clue how to do this. It looks fantastic.

Clever idea! I love word-block type stamps so really like the idea of doing it yourself. Happy New Year!
