Well here I am with my card for this week's Less is More challenge, a bit late and I apologise for my lack of commenting this week but I have a very good excuse!! We had my SIL and BIL visiting us from Friday till Monday and on Tuesday my DH Jim had a hip replacement, so I've been a tad distracted:) Jim is doing brilliantly and expects to be discharged tomorrow. He has been walking around the ward and needs to attempt the stairs tomorrow. A must as we live in a Victorian town house over three levels:)
Anyway back to the challenge and this is what it is this week:
I punched out a flower with my SU Mixed Bunch punch and backed it with card that I coloured with rainbow colours, I punched out little blossoms from the scrap coloured card and added them on the front. Sentiment is a WOW one.
Happy 3rd birthday to my favourite challenge and a big hello to Mandi, so nice to see you and hear how successful your business is:)

I'm not sure anyone told you that you were showcased on my blog for a DJKASE along with Karen on Friday, January 31st. I even won a prize for it from the challenge I entered. I know you will have your hands full with Jim, but when he is resting and you get a chance, please come and see the post. I hope you are pleased with it!
Hugs, Darnell

I save all of the punch outs from die cuts to use and you did it and it looks outstanding! Your really creative flowers next to it is perfect and the whole card is so simply elegant and uplifting too!
Have been wondering where you've been Val - I do hope all is well with your DH and that he makes a quick recovery. I love this fabulous bright card. The sprinkling of different coloured little flowers looks great with the big rainbow coloured one. Take care, Vicky x
