Hello all, just dropped in to post my card for this week's LIM challenge. I've been to Rock choir this evening and we are perfecting two songs ready for our recording debut at Abbey Road studios on 23rd Feb!! Exciting times:)
The weeks come around so quickly and it's
ONE LAYER
week once more.
This time
Anything Goes!
I struggled a bit with this week's challenge, couldn't come up with anything I liked except lots of discarded ideas in my bits bag! Anyway this is my last shot at it:
Watercolour effect using Mustard Seed and Bundled Sage coupled with some script and piercing.
This nearly went in the bin but may come in handy, not sure though:)
Jim is doing well and I am constantly at his beck and call, definitely didn't miss my vocation:)
Thanks for visiting and you know I love to read your comments!

Two gorgeous cards Val but your first one has to be my favourite

I particularly like the colours on the top card Val and that lovely bit of piercing too. Glad to hear you're coping with the excitement of recording as well as with your bit of nursing! Best wishes for Jim's continued recovery. Vicky x
Oh don't throw either of them away - they're both lovely!
These are both great Val but the first one is fab! I love the water-coloury effect of the super butterfly! Terrific!
Thanks so much

Yeah! Both are great Val, I can see you haven't lost your touch even though you're wearing a nurses uniform now :D!! Glad to hear there is some progress for Jim ! Hugs Gay x
Sorry, I'm so tardy coming by, Val. These are both charming OLCs and at least you played!! That's so awesome about your choir recording and I'm delighted to hear that Jim is recovering well! I'm sure you are selling yourself short on the nursing and you are tending to him superbly! (You might be whispering under your breath, but the tending won't suffer for that!) Hugs, Darnell
Love your creativity and choice of colors on your first card! VEry very pretty and the paper piercing is a great touch too! I really like the embossing on the second card and think your card is simple elegance! Glad to hear Jim's hip is coming along. My mom had hip surgery and it was no picnic. He is very lucky you are there for him. Sending well thoughts his way.
