Time flies.......

Hi everyone, wow I can't believe how the weeks fly by! I have been crafting but can't show you everything as the birthdays haven't happened yet :o)
I was lucky to achieve Santa Supreme with my last card for CASing Christmas but haven't managed to make one this week. We had a lovely weekend in Bristol catching up with some old friends who we haven't seen for about 18 years!! Fabulous food and too much wine! It was Carol's birthday while we were down there and this is the card I made for her:

The same day it was my nephews 50th and his wife asked me to make a pop up card
with family photos and hobbies and this is it:

There were a lot of photos and Paula found it difficult to choose her favourites so I made a mini album with the rest, come and see:

Finally a small acceptance card for a wedding invitation, only 2 to go to this year!

We have the builders back with us so chaos reigns again for a couple of weeks but at least the weather is lovely!
Apologies if I haven't commented on your posts but I always check them out, I've had a  couple of commisions with fairly short notice and it's been a bit hectic :o)

A great selection of cards and the album was a good idea to use the extra photos. Have fun with the builders and I hope the weather stays good.

Great card for Carol, love the hummingbird. Nigel's card is fab and love the way you made a mini album with the rest of the photos Paula sent you. I'm sure he was delighted with both. Congrats on achieving Santa Supreme. BTW - no Pinterest P on any of your cards so think you need to check on it.

Looks like you've been busy making card Val! LOVE your selection, each one so unique and creative. Love the hummingbird and how you've added movement with his wings. And I bet your nephew loved his pop-up photo card --- very special keepsake, along with the sweet album. Such a great idea with the pockets and clips on the pictures. And your intricate die-cut card is so pretty.

Good luck with the builders. Loll xx

Hi Val! What a beautiful mini album you made! Such a pretty little thing! I´m always curious to see, how other people close their albums - what kind of closure is this here? I can´t really see it... it looks handy and very elegant!
Have a wonderful new week!
