Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!

Hi everyone, well here we are on the Christmas countdown, can't believe it's December 1st already
Sled
It's been a busy week, on Tuesday my friend took me to see Friday night is Music night being recorded and it was a Strictly night  with Craig Revel Horwood and Zoe Ball as compere's. We had a front row seat and sitting in front of the BBC concert orchestra, listening to Lance Ellington and Hayley Saunderson singing was amazing. Wednesday was last night of Rock choir (*) till January, Thursday was Quiz night, Friday night a lovely Greek meal and friends for lunch on Saturday, hence not a lot of crafting this week :)
Anyway less of my social calendar and back to the letter for this week's Alpha challenge which is S. So many words to choose from and I know SING should have been the most appropriate but I had several embossed pieces hanging around and they spelt out one word, SNOW! Come and see:

I tried to show night and day and hope we don't have too many days or nights looking out at this!!!

We found out some quite exciting news at choir this week and that is that we are going to the Abbey Rd studios to record a couple of songs in February! It will only be our choir and not hundreds of us so it will be a fabulous experience (*)

Hope you are having a great weekend wherever you are and a big welcome to Viv who has kindly decided to follow me.

You certainly have had a busy week, Val!! And now you are going to become a recording artist!! WOW!!
We met Craig Revel Horwood on our cruise in May. He wad a lovely guy.....not at all like he 'acts' on Strictly. It was a Strictly Come Dancing Themed cruise. There were all the costumes from the 2012 shows on maniquins all around the ship. Darcey Bussell along with James and Ola Jordan also joined the last leg of the cruise in Gibraltar.
Sorry to digress.....
Your alpha challenge pages look fab! I love snow themed cards and creations, but I hope we don't get much of the real thing this winter xx

Your choice and execution of snow as your word is excellent, Val! I sang your post out loud, in order to also apply the word "sing" which so fits you! Speaking of, congratulations on the choir going to record! How wonderfully exciting is that?!! And speaking of wonderfully exciting, I've just read on Karendipity's blog that your birthday was Monday. I'm so sorry I'm late, but wish you a Happy Belated Birthday!! Big hugs, Darnell
