Less is More week week 135-use a rubber stamp

Hi everyone just a quick post for this week's LIM challenge which is as follows:
PENNY BLACK are playing along this week and offering a fabulous prize!

Onto our challenge for this week... We want you to use a
RUBBER STAMP
In addition if you could use watercolours that would be wonderful!

Sounds a doddle but there is a twist with the the watercolour theme. I'm not a painter and had a few failed attempts with different ideas and finally came up with two cards using different techniques.

On this card I added ink to an acrylic block and stamped it onto watercolour paper. The silhouette image is a magazine freebie as are the starfish and seahorse which I stamped on shrink plastic. The sentiment is from the same set.

This card I added inks directly to the stamp, spritzed with water and stamped onto watercolour paper. I cut out the image with a die and the strip of card is embossed with an Anna Griffin EF. I shadow stamped the sentiment, it's not your eyesight ;)

thanks for visiting me your comments are always welcome.

Two gorgeous cards Val. I love both of your watercolour techniques - so different, and so effective. The torn edges on the beach scene are fab., and the little book on the second card is simply beautiful.

Hi Val. Two gorgeous cards using different techniques. I LOVE the first one with the beach scene ... the ripped edges of paper are perfect along with your sweet little sea charms.

The second card is beautiful ... such a pretty image and I love the shape of your die ... reminds me of an open book - gorgeous ... and I'm thinking I might need to add that to my wish list! :) Loll xx

Two stunners, Val! I love them both, but the beach scene reminds me of holidays and I was drawn to that one in particular

Two gorgeous cards Val but it's the top one that really catches my eye. I love the way your background came out and it makes a beautiful back drop for that lovely silhouette. Gorgeous! Vicky x
