Less is More week 133-theme Round and Round

Evening all, a bit late I know but there always seems to be a few night owls around  (:| This week's challenge over at Less is More is as follows:
For our theme this week our challenge is
ROUND AND ROUND
For this you may use any image which implies this movement...ie things with wheels or which move in this manner etc or in fact cards with some moving parts.
I wasn't sure what I was going to do but remembered a freebie spiral stamp from Craft Stamper magazine and while I was looking for it I came across another one from CS and my card was born :)
Come and see:

I stamped with SU Baja Breeze,River Rock and Early Expresso. I added a brad to the centre of the dial and  some piercing around the edge.  The sentiment is from my Xyron digital printer. So apart from the spiral background I wanted to focus on the centre of the phone which went round as you dialled, some of you may remember that  ;)

Thanks for taking the time to visit, please let me know so that I can visit you.

  1. Such a clever idea, and I can remember when you had to 'dial' a number, none of this screen touching when we first used a phone.

  5. Great card Val - love the phone........made me remember the phone we were "allowed" to use in the middle of the hall two doors down! Great colourway and more than enough rounds.

  6. Stunning card, love the use of the stamps (mine are also hiding somewhere unused) and the pricking finished it off nicely.

I certainly remember these phones. My first office job was as a telephonist, using these phones and and the old type switchboard! Those were the days! xx

  10. I really love your card! The softness of the colors is nice. The little bits of piercing are fun too, and I like that they stop where your corner of stamping is. Everything flows well and looks so complete and polished :)

    Best crafty wishes!
