Wet, Wet, Wet!!

Evening all, a quick post for the ALPHA challenge over at The Craft Barn as we are Charlie sitting this weekend and that cuts down on my crafting time:) You can imagine how tough I find that!
Anyway back to my dictionary and the letter this week is U with no restrictions and I chose UMBRELLA. Come and see:

Have you noticed how the raindrops have buckled the paper:) The umbrella is printed on acetate and was part of a set but I don't know where from! I inked the page and framed the umbrella and added some raindrops with a paper pen.

Thanks for visiting and hopefully leaving a comment so I can visit you:)

  1. Hi Val and thanks for your visit. Great page and perfect for the change in weather we have just had.
That wrinkled look is perfect - what a lucky side effect. MMx

  2. The paper buckling is quite strange as I can't make a reasoning for it...unless it was very moist. There's been some crazy weather everywhere, so your word choice is perfect at this time. So many need a bit of protection against the worst of it.

  3. Great choice of word and image for the weather......our forecast was for rain overnight and heavy rain all day but it's sunny at the moment. Keeping fingers crosed as it's our village BBQ on Saturday......!

  6. I'm surprised that there haven't been more umbrellas but I like the way you have done yours. The buckling almost looks like the page has been left out in the rain so it works really well.

  7. Fantastic page, I think the paper buckling makes it more realistic for the wet drops.

  10. I love the blending of the colours on this and the raindrops on the page too. Sadly it's all too apt a choice for the weather we've been having, but remember, if you take your umbrella out with you it's less likely to rain! Julie Ann xxx
