Hi everyone, just popped in to post my LIM card, I've been pruning my Camellia and it's so HOT out there, not that I'm complaining:) I've been quite drastic so I hope it flowers next year! Anyway back to this week's challenge which is a colour one and Chrissie and Jen want to see the:
My 2nd card uses the flourish from SU Everything Eleanor and the flower from Bright Blossoms, punched out and decoupaged.
Thanks for taking the time to visit , I'd better get back out and tidy up the mess I left in the garden!
COLOUR OF YOUR FRONT DOOR!
Mine's blue and I couldn't find any card to match or ink and in the end found a PM that matched. I
made two cards and here they are:
As you can see my letterbox needs a good clean hence the shabby, distressed gilding on my dragonflies:)
Thanks for taking the time to visit , I'd better get back out and tidy up the mess I left in the garden!

both cards are wonderful interpretations of your front door, val... I especially like the first one with the dragonflies!
Nice cards and great front door.
Hi Val, love the colour of your front door! Your cards are two beauties, the gilded dragonflies look so delicate and the flower on the second is gorgeous.
Two great cards xx Jan
Love the first card - the blue through the aperture looks so rich especially with the distressed gilded dragonflies. Really like the black flourishes with the punched out flower.....very CAS.

Two beautiful cards, Val. Love the colour of your door too!
What a beautiful colour your front door is Val and I love the cards it inspired too. The gilding looks wonderful against the blue in the first and I love the way you paired the Mixed Bunch flower with the Everything Eleanor flourish in the second. I've been doing battle in the garden too and have a huge pile of prunings to tidy up today! Vicky x
What a wonderful change to have a drop of good weather huh Val!
Your door looks great as do your cards!
Thanks so much
Chrissie

I really love the shabby gold dragonflies, stunning against the vibrant blue!!! I love the clour and style of your front door...I would love to go back to a wooden front door but not too keen on the hassle of painting it!!! The weather has been gorgeous hasn't it... Dare we hope it stays the whole weekend too!!??
