Less is More week 79-colour

Well I was out shopping earlier and it was glorious, now I've had to put the lights on, the sky is black and thunder is rumbling all around!! Time to post this week's challenge for Less is More.  I'ts a  colour challenge using BLUE and GREEN.
Here is what I came up with:)

The centre tile is stampbord that I coloured with alcohol inks. I stamped on top with black memento ink using an old Rubadubbadoo stamp and Chapel Art ferns. I used a gold leaf pen around the edges. I matted it onto a piece of card that I sponged with Shabby Shutters and Stormy Skies DI and overstamped with the ferns. The word sea was part of a freebie stamp from Craft Stamper.

Thanks for taking the time to visit, I love to read your comments and pay you a visit:)

This is lovely - what gorgeous colourwork and beautiful stamping! I got drenched today while out shopping on our local High Street, yet by the time I reached home the sun was shining beautifully, Jo x

Love the colours on this and a good card for the challenge. We started out with a nice morning but it didn't last - black skies and plenty of rain - again!!

Super stamping and colouring techniques, Val. I love the ferns and your tile...especially the gold leaf edging, (bet it looks even better in real life). A very classy card!
It was bad here yesterday. I've never known thunder like it, it was relentless and we even saw what we thought was a tornado developing a few miles away...apparently, it was a funnel cloud, and only becomes a tornado when it actually touches ground. Thank God it didn't!!
You asked about my card size. It's 5 inches square. So you can just fit four roses across the bottom xx
PS...Thank you for your lovely comments, Val. I really appreciate them xx

There's a great contrast between the subtle blues and greens of the background and the vibrant stampboard in the centre. Lovely!
