I'm always fascinated with the fabulous CAS cards that Susan creates on her blog and thought I had to have a go at her OLW challenge.
This week's OLW is to make a one-layer card that uses white, gray, with a pop of one bright color of your choice. (If you must, you may use black for the sentiment.) This is what I have come up with and hope I have not gone overboard with the pop of colour but it's difficult with blossom not to leave any out!!
My base card is white pearl and I stamped the blossom branch(Sheena Douglass) and Little Vermillion(SU) with grey Versafine. I added a pop of orange to the blossoms and a pearl bead. The sentiment is from the same Sheena set but I'm not happy with the placement:(
We're away for the weekend in Portsmouth, finishing off a few bits before baby Nolan arrives so I haven't got time to do another one:)) I do love both these stamps though! Apologies for the poor photo quality.

Hi Val, You haven't gone over the top at all, your blossom looks really lovely...and so does 'Little Vermillion'. Those stamps work so well together, and your sentiment goes with them perfectly. A really pretty card:)

This Vermillion looks so pretty perched on these lovely branches, Val! The orange in the blooms really pops.
