Just back from a very nice visit to Somerset, visiting my
sister as it was her birthday weekend. I decided to make a
tea light card but substituted the tea lights with pots of glitter as she is also a crafter. I covered the base card with some lovely papers that were part of blog candy that I was lucky enough to win from
Jacki and distressed the edges with Black Soot and the front edge was punched with an MS punch. Inside I made a pocket to hold the greeting tag and on the right I made a box with an acetate aperture for the pots of glitter. I used ribbon as decoration and on the front I printed out a Debbi Moore image from the Paris cd and gemmed and glittered it, mounted onto black mat and a Marianne flourish.

Pink pearls accentuate the daisy edge and the acetate window on the box has a butterfly stamped and glittered on it.
Thanks for looking ;)

She is drop dead gorgeous and the embellishments and DP you gave her just really makes her even more feminine and lovely!
This was even more gorgeous in real life!!! Many thanks Val - it's still got pride of place on the mantlepiece.
