Say it with flowers

A brand new challenge started this week to make cards for the St Luke's Hospice so that they can sell them and help with their fund raising. More information on the challenge and the hospice can be found here. The theme is Say it with flowers and I decided to use a large hydrangea stamp from Papermania. I inked it up with Stormy Sky and Shabby Shutters distress inks and matted onto grey card and then mounted on a square linen card base. I tied a knot with blue vintage ribbon and attached it to the stem of the flower. The sentiment is digitally produced and I added a few blue pearls.
Thanks for looking :)

Hi Valerie, this is a stunning card, I love it. Hydrangea's always remind me of my grandma, she had lots of them in her garden, happy memories. Jo x
