Less is More Touch of Red

This weeks challenge at Less is More is a Touch of Red. As usual entries came in thick and fast on Saturday morning and of a very high standard! I know I shouldn't really look before I decide what I want to do but I can't resist and then there's the problem when someone else has had the same idea :(
So here I am having had a lovely meal at our local Thai restaurant and hoping it did the trick and inspired me!!
I used a free digi stamp, from I where I can't remember, and printed it twice so I could add one layer to the figure. The sentiment I printed on the computer and I added some red glitter to accent. I used red holographic peel offs to give the illusion of a mat.

I made a 2nd card using a stamp I bought in Lunenburg NS as a souvenir. I just added red ink to the roofs.
Thanks for looking :)

The first image is breathtaking! I love art deco. You accented the image to perfection. You added just the right amount of detail to the second image. Brilliant!

These are both fantastic Val! I love the first, which reminds me of being a child doubled up with laughter on a windy day because I'd seen a lady's hat fly off and watched her chasing it down the street! The second is my favourite. It's just gorgeous - a really striking graphic card.

Wow Valerie, both cards a beautiful! I really love the one with the houses. Reminds me of a times I used to drive to the shore and see all the pretty summer homes lined up along the drive. :)

You made me smile about the challenge. I try not to look at what others have made before I make my card. However I have found that if I don't look and make a card that someone else has already posted, then I feel even more disappointed and usually end up not posting at all. I suppose we could look at it as "great minds think alike" :D

Again, your cards are lovely. TFS.
