Spring

The 3rd challenge over at Less is More is Spring. I've enjoyed Mandi and Chrissie's tutorials on using fonts on the card so I thought I'd have a go using my Serif Craft Artist. Using font BD Engraved Black I typed the word Love and enlarged the "o" and printed it out on a folded A5 card. I stamped a flower image from Sheena Douglass in versamark and embossed in gold. I coloured the flowers with promarkers and ghosted some grass at the base to ground the image.  A dry embossed frame and some text in a fine black liner completes the card.

Thanks for looking :)

I love how you have really gone to town and made your word the focus of the card... especially as you've also used SCA - I just bought from create and craft but haven't installed it... i will do it right now...

The Sheena image is great - I think i'll look into the poppy one she has. That would also have looked striking on here in place of the flower - perhaps a set of them would look nice if you had more flowers to use?

Well done on creating a different font effect. I bet the font would look good in outline too, endless possibilities!
