Am I in time?

Evening everyone.

A very quick post as I saw a challenge called Rudolph days and I love making Christmas cards so thought I'd join in. When I decided what to do I realised it could be suitable for Darnell's NBUS challenge and I think I am just in time! Apologies for the photo it's a very miserable day here!

I used snowflake stamps that were free with Creative Stamping magazine and not been used before hence the Not Been Used Stuff acronym on Darnell's challenge. I also did a camouflage sentiment which is an optional theme. On Rudolph days anything goes as long as it's a Christmas card.

Afternoon all!
I had intended joining in Darnell's NBUS challenge but the week got away from me instead I was inspired this morning by the new challenge over at Less is More:

So it's Recipe week and we're looking for 
1 or more balloons on your project.

So I decided to use some freebie stamps from Creative Stamping magazine and thought it would make a Valentine's card for my OH.

Fairly self-explanatory but I liked the sentiment. I've had to stop my subscription to this magazine as you get so many stamps that I'm running out of space!

I had to make 2 sympathy cards yesterday and went with a freebie feather stamp and SU French Foliage set.

Temperature has gone up today and we actually had to turn the heating off for a while! Long may it continue.

Resolutions....

Hi everyone I'm trying to keep my NYE resolution to be a better blogger and here I am with a couple of cards to show you.
We were in Ireland last weekend for my niece's wedding and I made a tealight card for the bride and groom.  We were laughing at the photo I have of her and her sister at my wedding:

46 years apart!

We had a great time catching up with family and the wedding finished at 4am! Just about recovered :)

We have been invited to a neighbour's little boys 1st birthday on Sunday and here is the card I made which is a case of one I saw on Pinterest.

Loved this cute elephant which was made with different sized circles for body, head an feet and SU bauble punch for the ears.

We experienced a snowstorm this morning but it didn't settle and the rest of the day was cold and sunny. Hope you're all safe wherever you are!

1st post of 2017.........

Hi everyone it's me again, twice in a week after a long absence! I saw the latest challenge over at Less is More and thought I'd give it a go. The challenge is as follows:

                It's back round to our Recipe week and we'd like to see 
                 you add DIMENSION to your cards for this challenge.

I used Altenew vintage flower stamps with 3 shades of brown ink on cream hammered card and the sentiment is from Happy Little Stampers. I'm also entering the January challenge over at Stamping Sensations which is Coffee and Cream.

We are off to Ireland for a family wedding at the weekend so I'm hoping it won't be too cold!
