Fun with Charlie and a few more cards........

Hi everyone well it's been a quiet weekend finishing a couple more commisions and recovering from Charlie! He came last Saturday and went home Thursday morning and we had such fun! Riding on London buses and the highlight being a trip to the London Transport museum and a ride on the underground. He was so full of the buses that he'd driven that he struggled to get to sleep that evening clutching his model tube train! The journey to Covent Garden was spent with him pretending to drive the train much to the amusement of the rest of the passengers, check out my photos:

We are having a few days in the IOW with him next month when we get back from Crete.

Now to my cards.....
this was a birthday card for my friend's daughter, Eleanor, a mix of dies, stamps and punches.

This was a new home card for Eleanor as well which I created with Craft Artist
using a photo of her new home.

The following are all commisions:

Thanks to Loli for the inspiration for the card below!

Picture heavy again but no more crafting for a while as I need to get ready for our trip to Crete in a weeks time, can't wait :0)

Up cycling....

Evening all, just a quick post to show you what I've been busy with this week, along with three more commissions.
We've had the builders in recently and have changed the use of two rooms and the new decor of the spare bedroom did not suit the orange pine furniture that we had so.........

                    Before

After

DIY knob holder!

I've also completed the bed, shoe cabinet and mirrors.
I used Annie Sloan paint which covers brilliantly and I've still got a quarter of my original 1 litre tin left!
Finally I created a scrapbook page of Charlie that I'm going to frame:

Hopefully I'll have some cards to show you soon :0)

Birthdays galore!! Picture heavy........

Hi everyone sorry for not being around for a couple of weeks I don't know where the time goes! I've got a few cards to show you as there have been so many birthdays lately. The most important was my sister, Karen's, which was on the bank holiday weekend and we went down to Somerset to celebrate. The card I made her was a CASE of one that she had put a tutorial for on her blog, come and see:

Next on my list was a tealight card for my friend Mandy who had a special big birthday!

Mandy had commisioned me to make two pop up cards for her daughter and her friend and these are they!

It had also been my hairdresser, Tracey's 40th, and here is her card:

The last birthday was my great nephew,Oliver, and he works part time for Apple whilst at University and I thought this was appropriate!

Finally a very good friend, Mike, has had a major op for a very rare type of cancer and his wife asked me to make a card with a particular sentiment as she hadn't been able to find anything suitable and here it is, created on Craft Artist:

:

and this card was from me

We spent a couple of days in Portsmouth and had a fab day at Stansted House with Charlie on bank holiday Monday which was a beautiful day:

Hope you managed to stay awake until the end!
