Altered dictionary FINALE!

Merry Christmas to all my blogging friends!

Hi everyone, well what a long time it's been since I last posted anything! The only crafting I've done is to make Christmas cards and wrap presents :)

I've just popped in to show you the last two letters for our altered dictionary challenge. They are X and I. Not a lot of choice for X as it was only a page and a half so I ended up with the obvious one, you'll never guess:)

For the letter I, I have gone for icecream, possibly my favourite dessert!

Finally we were asked to show our finished dictionary and I have made a collage showing a lot of my altered pages,  I have printed it out and just have to cover my dictionary now.

In honour of her blog name, the theme we have chosen for our challenge this time is

Just a simple embossed panel with glitter on the snowflakes. The sentiment is an SU one with WOW embossing glitter. Not a good photo I'm afraid but it is sparkly IRL!

All I seem to have done for the last 10 days is EAT! Tuesday was French, Wednesday Japanese, Thursday pub grub and Friday Greek. Monday was my birthday and we had Indian and tomorrow we are off to the Ritz for afternoon tea! Friday we are off to Portsmouth for belated birthday festivities and a little Charlie sitting, Christmas will be an anticlimax after this :)
Need to write my Christmas cards and wrap a few presents so TTFN

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!

Hi everyone, well here we are on the Christmas countdown, can't believe it's December 1st already

It's been a busy week, on Tuesday my friend took me to see Friday night is Music night being recorded and it was a Strictly night  with Craig Revel Horwood and Zoe Ball as compere's. We had a front row seat and sitting in front of the BBC concert orchestra, listening to Lance Ellington and Hayley Saunderson singing was amazing. Wednesday was last night of Rock choir  till January, Thursday was Quiz night, Friday night a lovely Greek meal and friends for lunch on Saturday, hence not a lot of crafting this week :)
Anyway less of my social calendar and back to the letter for this week's Alpha challenge which is S. So many words to choose from and I know SING should have been the most appropriate but I had several embossed pieces hanging around and they spelt out one word, SNOW! Come and see:

I tried to show night and day and hope we don't have too many days or nights looking out at this!!!

We found out some quite exciting news at choir this week and that is that we are going to the Abbey Rd studios to record a couple of songs in February! It will only be our choir and not hundreds of us so it will be a fabulous experience
